In this module, students will explore structural and functional anatomy of shoulders, arms and cervical spine and revisit anatomy covered in M1 & M2, particularly the anatomy of the hip joint as it compares to the shoulder’s ball and socket joint. Students will also come to understand the inherent vulnerabilities of the shoulder joint as it relates to the repetitive movements, as well as explore wrist pain as it relates to vinyasa yoga. Students will practice teaching and adjusting in small groups to continue to refine efficacy and delivery of cueing and become skillful with hands-on assists.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to work with neck and shoulder dysfunction, pain, and injury
  • Learn how to understand and communicate the actions of the muscles and joints of the upper back and shoulders
